Garance Dore

Garance Dore is a fashion illustration goddess. I LOVE her work. I love her playful and entertaining blog posts. More than anything, I love her recent layouts for VOGUE. Check out her work here. Read my post about Carine Roitfeld here.

Vogue, Vogue, Vogue

My love of Vogue Magazine began while most of my peers were still reading the Babysitters Club Books. I would go to the library in my small town and pour over these works of art, memorizing model names, designers, styles and movements. Could this possibly have had an influence on why I got into advertising? Perhaps. All I know is that fifteen years after I cracked my first Vogue, (yes, I am getting old!), I am still in love with the iconic magazine and want to take a peek at some of my favorite covers from my childhood and beyond.

If you are as obsessed as I am, then you will enjoy CoverBrowswer.com, which showcases covers from the 1970's -1997... its a pretty amazing collection:)

Black and White and Beautiful All Over!

After completing my first photo shoot for school, I am officially obsessed with photography. As if I need one more thing to be enamored with but regardless I have been surfing the net looking for inspiring images. I stumbled upon a photo shoot for Italian Vogue by Steven Meisel and have been so captivated by the images that I needed to add them to SwipeFile. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!
